Der Kö-Bogen ist eine Neubau-Maßnahme der nordrhein-westfälischen Landeshauptstadt Düsseldorf am Ende der Renomiermeile "Königsallee". Der bisher fertig gestellte Teil Kö-Bogen I mit Bauten nach Entwürfen des New Yorker Stararchitekten Daniel Libeskind ist ein ausgesprochen fotogener modern-futuristischer Gebäudekomplex. Mit dem Bau des zweiten Teiles wurde 2017 begonnen und sieht schon im Rohbau interessant aus. Im Hintergrund ist das sogenannte Drei-Scheiben-Haus, ein schmal gehaltenes, aus drei scheibenförmigen gegeneinander versetzten Gebäudeteilen bestehendes Hochhaus mit durchgehender Glasfassade, das ich noch aus meiner Jugend kenne. Die Aufnahme entstand mittels ICM (Intentional Camera Movement), also das absichtliche Verreißen der Kamera. Es ist sozusagen der Freestyle in der Fotografie.

The Kö-Bogen is a new construction project of the North Rhine-Westphalian state capital Düsseldorf at the end of the famous "Königsallee" mile. The completed part Kö-Bogen I with buildings designed by New York star architect Daniel Libeskind is a decidedly photogenic modern-futuristic building complex. Construction of the second part began in 2017 and already looks interesting in its shell. In the background is the so-called three-pane house, a thin, high-rise building with a continuous glass façade, consisting of three pane-shaped building parts offset against each other, which I still know from my youth. The shot was taken with ICM (Intentional Camera Movement), the intentional tearing of the camera. It is, so to speak, the freestyle in photography.
